Unprecedented Thermal Sensitivity
Featuring an extremely sensitive 640x480, 17µm, <18mK NETD thermal sensor and a powerful 50 mm f1.0 fast aperture germanium objective lens, the Telos XP50 will achieve an outstanding detection range of up to 1800 m.
And, along with being the first upgradeable device, the Telos is also Pulsar’s first ever <18mK NETD rated device — achieving astonishing levels of thermal sensitivity and therefore an exceptionally detailed thermal picture; spotting even the smallest of heat signatures in difficult conditions, including heavy rain and dense fog.
Experience Better Clarity with Advanced Image Boost Technology
Featuring Pulsar’s advanced image boost technology, the Telos XP50 uses a set of proprietary image processing algorithms to offer the highest levels of detail, clarity, and contrast; with the software used to provide greater detailing and better sharpening of observed objects at varying distances — enhancing the already stunning image achieved by its native <18mK NETD sensor even further.
Users can manually increase the device’s thermal sensitivity level to further improve its detection capabilities when environmental conditions worsen, and a smoothing filter and a wide range of brightness and contrast settings will ensure a more comfortable experience over long periods of observation.
Enhance Your Experience with Customisable User Interface
Another exciting addition to the Telos XP50 is its customisable user interface, which offers an even more immersive experience by allowing users to rearrange the device menu and the information bar relative to their preferred or most frequently used digital functionalities.
Save Your Settings with User Mode
For an even greater level of user customisability, User Mode enables users to save any changes they make to the device’s brightness and contrast settings in specific observation conditions; achieving optimal image quality immediately upon the Telos XP50’s next use — without them needing to make any additional adjustments to these settings.
Ergonomically Designed for Comfortable Observation
In order to provide the most comfortable observation experience possible, the Telos XP50 features an ergonomically considered design that boasts a rubberised coating, an ambidextrous hand strap, and a completely new zoom and focus control mechanism.
A non-slip rubber-coated bodyshell ensures a secure grip at all times and in any weather conditions and offers excellent protective qualities in order to retain its original appearance for a longer period.
This rubberised bodyshell guards the Telos XP50 against any wear and tear that may occur after prolonged use in varying environments, protecting it against any water or dust ingress, allowing the device to remain reliably operational in a wide range of extreme temperatures, and even protecting it from damage when dropped.
Intuitive Focus & Zoom Ring Arrangement
The addition of a zoom and focus ring arrangement on the objective lens achieves a sense of the familiar, allowing users to focus the device and zoom smoothly to its 10x magnification simply by turning the rings at the front of the device — just like they would with a traditional camera.
Pulsar's First-Ever Wireless Charging Device
Racking up an impressive collection of firsts, the Telos XP50 is also the first Pulsar device to offer wireless charging! The brand-new LPS 7i quick-charge Li-ion battery will provide up to 8 hours of continuous observation (depending on temperature) before a recharge is needed.
Users needn’t worry about requiring special chargers, as this battery can either be placed on a wireless charging mat, or connected to any charging cable with a USB Type-C port. Fast-charging capabilities make sure users won’t be without power for long, and the Telos XP50 will be operational again in next to no time.
Protective Carry Case Included
The Telos XP50 is even provided with an ergonomic and extremely functional carry case, designed to remain stylish and comfortable through the optimal positioning of straps; evenly distributing the weight of the device and dispersing the load away from the shoulders, back, and neck. This case ensures the user has quick access to the device when on the move, and guarantees it will remain well-protected when it is not in use.
The carry case fits snugly against the body, but will not impede the user’s ability to bend, turn, and crouch freely, and will not affect their range of movements when moving across the country.
Alternatively, the Telos XP50 is equipped with straps that can be easily attached to a belt, or to a backpack or webbed gear with a modular Molle fixation system.
