Designed for easily and safely detecting and preventing suspicious behaviour, the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope is an infrared imager with an advanced NETD <40mK thermal sensor and an uncooled micro-bolometric matrix with a 640 x 480px resolution (at 17µm). It provides high-quality, high-resolution, richly contrasted thermal images with precise detail recognition even in challenging weather conditions, such as rain and fog, as well as situations where there is low thermal contrast. Please see the following video for a quick introduction to Pulsar’s Lexion Thermal Imaging Monocular Scopes.
A professional-grade thermal imaging sensor and a powerful objective lens equip the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope with a detection range of up to 1000m.
The rangefinding reticle determines the distance to objects with a known height (1.7m, 0.7m, or 0.3m).
Software algorithms improve image clarity and detail, providing a sharper, more detailed field-of-view and enhancing object recognition.
The Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope includes the following colour palettes:
Users can monitor fast-moving objects because the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope has a fast frame rate (50Hz) ensuring it can deliver fluid thermal imaging.
Power-saving and frost-resistant, the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope’s full-colour, AMOLED display supports flawless, fluid, high-resolution thermal imaging with a crisp, richly contrasted field-of-view.
The Display Off function prevents light from escaping the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope’s eyepiece when it is not in use. This function does not affect the scope's systems or settings ensuring that it can be powered on quickly when required.
Images and videos can be captured and saved to the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope’s internal memory. They may be uploaded to a laptop or PC via a wired or wireless connection.
Via a wireless connection, footage can be streamed to an Android or iOS smartphone/ tablet with the Stream Vision App installed. Alternatively, footage can be streamed to YouTube. Furthermore, wireless communication enables remote operation via a smartphone/ tablet with the Stream Vision App or via a remote control with an encoder wheel. In addition to this, the Stream Vision App can be used to update the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope’s software.
Resistant to shocks, stress, and water ingress, the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope is housed in a rugged, reinforced, IPX7-rated casing. It is suitable for use in heavy rain and snow, as well as temperatures as low as -25°C due to its frost-resistant display.
The Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope’s progressive, autonomous B-pack power supply consists of a quick-detach, rechargeable IPS7, 6.4 A-h battery pack. It provides over ten hours of power. The Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope is also compatible with IPS14 battery packs and AA battery cases.
In addition to this, the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope’s micro-USB jack enables charging via a power bank. This method of charging facilitates quicker start-up in cold weather and protects the source from rapid discharge.
The Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope is a dependable, durable and professional-grade thermal imager specifically optimised for law enforcement, land security, forestry, firefighting, life rescue, border patrol, maritime security, and coast guard applications.
