Designed for easily and safely detecting and preventing suspicious behaviour, the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope is an infrared imager with an advanced NETD <40mK thermal sensor and an uncooled micro-bolometric matrix with a 640 x 480px resolution (at 17µm). It provides high-quality, high-resolution, richly contrasted thermal images with precise detail recognition even in challenging weather conditions, such as rain and fog, as well as situations where there is low thermal contrast. Please see the following video for a quick introduction to Pulsar’s Lexion Thermal Imaging Monocular Scopes.
Long Detection Range
A professional-grade thermal imaging sensor and a powerful objective lens equip the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope with a detection range of up to 1000m.
Stadiometric Rangefinder
The rangefinding reticle determines the distance to objects with a known height (1.7m, 0.7m, or 0.3m).
Image Boost Technology
Software algorithms improve image clarity and detail, providing a sharper, more detailed field-of-view and enhancing object recognition.
Eight Colour Palettes
The Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope includes the following colour palettes:
- White Hot: suitable for most applications
- Hot Black: ideal for detecting wildlife at night
- Red Monochrome: reduces/ prevents bright backlight from escaping the eyepiece
- Sepia: improves long-range observation
- Red Hot: enhances temperature differences
- Rainbow: enhances temperature differences
- Ultramarine: enhances temperature differences
- Violet: enables faster object identification
High Image Frequency
Users can monitor fast-moving objects because the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope has a fast frame rate (50Hz) ensuring it can deliver fluid thermal imaging.
Full-Colour AMOLED Display
Power-saving and frost-resistant, the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope’s full-colour, AMOLED display supports flawless, fluid, high-resolution thermal imaging with a crisp, richly contrasted field-of-view.
Display Off
The Display Off function prevents light from escaping the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope’s eyepiece when it is not in use. This function does not affect the scope's systems or settings ensuring that it can be powered on quickly when required.
Integrated Video Recorder
Images and videos can be captured and saved to the Pulsar Lexion XP28 Thermal Imaging Monocular Scope’s internal memory. They may be uploaded to a laptop or PC via a wired or wireless connection.
