Guide TrackIR Pro Handheld Thermal Monocular – Choice of Model

Designed for professional hunters, the Guide TrackIR Pro Handheld Thermal Monocular features a 50Hz frame rate and a thermal detector with a 640 x 480px (at 12µm) resolution. There are three versions of the Guide TrackIR Pro Handheld Thermal Monocular available. These vary in regards to their detection distances and fields-of-view; please see the following table for more information.

Thermal Imaging

Versatility is at the forefront of the Guide TrackIR Pro Handheld Thermal Monocular’s design. To this end, it is equipped with an array of features, functions and modes that can be used to adapt the thermal monocular for different applications, environments and conditions:

• Smooth Zoom (1-8x): offers flexibility allowing the hunter to pinpoint wildlife quickly
• Stadiametric Rangefinder: measures and displays the distance to targets with a known height in real-time, e.g., rabbits (35cm), boar (90cm), and deer (150cm)
• Picture-in-Picture function: enlarge a specific area of the image without compromising the overall field of view
• Selectable colour palettes: White Hot, Black Hot, Iron Red, Blue Hot, Red Hot and Adjustable Red Hot
• Multiple Scene modes: highlight the target by adapting the image, choose between Enhance, Highlight and Natural modes

Ergonomic & Easy-to-Use

Accessing the required features, functions and modes in the field and in the dark is made easy due to the inclusion of a simple control interface consisting of three silent, intuitive buttons.

Alternatively, hunters can use a smartphone/ tablet with the Guide App installed and a Wi-Fi connection to operate the Guide TrackIR Pro Handheld Thermal Monocular remotely. Hunters can also view live video on their smartphone or tablet. In addition to this, footage is visible on the Guide TrackIR Pro Handheld Thermal Monocular’s 0.4-inch, full-colour, 1280 x 960px HD display.

Rugged & Stealthy Design

As the Guide TrackIR Pro Handheld Thermal Monocular is intended for outdoor use, it features a rugged, IP66-rated casing and has been drop-tested from 1m. It also includes silent buttons, noiseless shutter calibration, an anti-light-leakage eyepiece, and a work light that can be switched off, making it ideal for covert operations.

Furthermore, additional accessories, such as a laser rangefinder, lighting and/or power bank (NOT included), can be connected to the Picatinny rail allowing the user to adapt the Guide TrackIR Pro Handheld Thermal Monocular for security, night patrol, law enforcement, and search and rescue missions. The Guide TrackIR Pro Handheld Thermal Monocular also includes a Micro HDMI connection for video transmission and a USB Type-C port for charging; it is supplied with a 6000mAh battery that provides up to 4.5 hours of power.
