The Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras are IR imagers optimised for troubleshooting and predictive maintenance applications. These cameras can be used by industrial professionals to identify and locate potential problems, such as failing components, before they become critical issues, thereby reducing the costs and downtime required to affect the necessary repairs.
Both of the Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras have an IR resolution of 640 x 480-pixels, a field-of-view of 34° (H) x 24° (V), and a minimum focus distance of 15cm. They are also equipped with a LaserSharp™ Auto Focus feature consisting of a built-in laser distance meter which will calculate and display the distance to the specified target. The Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras will then automatically adjust their focuses to ensure the IR image captures the specified target in the greatest clarity. Please see the video below for further information.
IR images are viewable via the Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras’ 3.5-inch (landscape), LCD displays. These thermal images can be edited and analysed on the Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras in real-time. The thermographer may alter the colour palette: the Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras feature nine colour palettes in standard and ultra-contrast versions including Rainbow, Ironbow, Blue-Red, High Contrast, Amber, Amber Inverted, Hot Metal, Grayscale and Grayscale Inverted. Additionally, the operater can apply colour alarms and markers to the thermal images; he/she can also alter the image’s emissivity.
Moreover, the Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras include Fluke’s patented IR-Fusion™ technology which blends thermal and visible-light images to varying degrees, providing the operator with a detailed thermal image. These cameras can measure and indicate temperatures between -20°C and +650°C to an accuracy of ±2° / 2%.
Thermal images and measurement data can be saved to the Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras’ 4 GB microSD cards. Moreover, as these IR imagers are Fluke Connect-enabled, images can also be saved to the Fluke Cloud.
Additionally, Fluke Connect compatibility allows the user to send images to a smartphone or tablet with the Fluke Connect app installed. Once received, thermal media can be analysed, edited and organised into customisable reports which may be exported via email. For a quick introduction to the Fluke Connect App, please see the following video.
Furthermore, when used with Fluke’s Fluke Connect SmartView Desktop Software (available for free download from Fluke) the thermographer is able to stream IR footage to his/her PC and may also operate the Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras remotely via this desktop program. The Fluke Connect SmartView Desktop Software can also be used to organise IR images and measurement data in accordance with the relevant piece of equipment.
When operating the Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras in the field the user can easily access all the required settings with one hand as a result of the IR imagers’ pistol-shaped design. These rugged cameras can also be adapted to suit various environments via the addition of Fluke’s Smart Lenses (NOT included). These lenses do not require calibration when connected to the Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras.
However, these cameras are supplied with a standard IR lens designed to provide the best optics for transmitting energy and subsequently creating high-quality infrared images. To this end, the standard IR lenses are constructed from 100% diamond-turned germanium with speciality coatings.
These entry-model thermal cameras are optimised for capturing sharp and clear IR images with accurate temperature measurements. The Fluke Ti401 PRO Handheld Thermal Imaging Cameras are practical, durable and adaptable IR imagers.
