Thermal & Optical Imaging
The FLIR VS290 Thermal Imaging Videoscope has an infrared resolution of 160 x 120px, a thermal sensitivity of <100mK, and an IR field-of-view of 57° x 44°. The FLIR VS290 Thermal Imaging Videoscope can measure temperatures between -10°C to +400°C to an accuracy of ±3°C/3%.
This industrial inspection tool is also equipped with a 2MP visual camera with an 83° field-of-view and bright LED work light. The FLIR VS290 Thermal Imaging Videoscope includes IR, Visual and MSX imaging modes. The MSX imaging mode overlays digital details onto the corresponding thermal image to increase picture clarity and improve the ease and certainty with which the user can identify the source of faults.
In addition to this, the FLIR VS290 Thermal Imaging Videoscope includes isotherms/ colour alarms and five selectable thermal colour palettes: Iron, Rainbow, Grey, Below Alarm, and Above Alarm.
Images can be saved to the supplied 16GB SD card. These images may be downloaded to a PC via a USB-C cable for analysis and inclusion in reports.
Rugged & Reliable
The FLIR VS290 Thermal Imaging Videoscope is optimised for utility, building, and manufacturing applications. To this end, it has an ingress protection rating of IP54 and a safety rating of CAT IV 600V which makes it suitable for conducting electrical inspections.
OPTIONAL 2m Rectangular Camera Probe
The field-replaceable OPTIONAL 2m rectangular camera probe also has an IP rating of 54, however, its camera tip is IP67-rated. This probe fits through small gaps and can be used to inspect electrical distribution vaults, large gearboxes, motors, attics, and crawl spaces.
The FLIR VS290 Thermal Imaging Videoscope can be used to identify hotspots in tight or difficult-to-access spaces before failures occur, thereby maximising system uptime.
