The FLIR ThermoVision EFD Desktop Computer Solution is an industrial computer that can be used with compatible FLIR A615, A315 and Ax5 Thermal Imaging Cameras to create an Early Fire Detection (EFD) System. To implement an EFD system, the FLIR ThermoVision EFD Desktop Computer Solution requires minimal configuration and no programming.
The two versions of the FLIR ThermoVision EFD Desktop Computer Solution differ in regard to the number of FLIR thermal imaging cameras they are able to support:
- T199722: FLIR ThermoVision EFD Desktop Computer Solution with 2 Camera Licenses
- T199724: FLIR ThermoVision EFD Desktop Computer Solution with 4 Camera Licenses
Equipped with application software and advanced algorithms, the FLIR ThermoVision EFD Desktop Computer Solution is able to identify potential fire hazards whilst preventing false alarms caused by sources of heat such as vehicles. The FLIR ThermoVision EFD Desktop Computer Solution monitors temperatures and alerts the user when an unusual increase and/or out-of-range temperature has occurred.
The user can program alarms ensuring that he/she is alerted when temperatures exceed a specified limit. Additionally, customisable alarms allow the user to define events and view video footage for specific events. Further to this, via the addition of a video wall, the user can view live image streams and results using a multi-tab screen solution.
Temperature monitoring, customisable alarms and support for thermal imaging cameras, enables the user to mitigate fire risks and monitor equipment and assets continuously and in total darkness. Additionally, the FLIR ThermoVision EFD Desktop Computer Solution allows personnel to make fast, informed decisions using temperature data and thermal footage.
