Cost-effective, compact and convenient, the FLIR TG275 Automotive Diagnostic Thermal Imaging Camera is a combined non-contact thermometer and infrared imaging diagnostic tool optimised for the automotive industry. It is of particular use to mechanics involved in repair and maintenance applications as it can troubleshoot issues pertaining to batteries, relays, switches, exhaust manifolds and drive train components; please see the video below for a quick introduction to the FLIR TG275 Automotive Diagnostic Thermal Imaging Camera.
The FLIR TG275 Automotive Diagnostic Thermal Imaging Camera is able to measure and image temperatures between -25°C and +550°C (-13°F to +1022°F). It has an IR resolution of 160 x 120px (19 200 pixels) and a 57° x 44° FOV.
Furthermore, the FLIR TG275 Automotive Diagnostic Thermal Imaging Camera includes a spot ratio of 30:1 enabling the user to take non-contact temperature measurements from a safe distance. The IGM™ (Infrared Guided Measurement) function, consisting of a high-precision, energy-efficient IR laser, guides the user during non-contact temperature measurements: it can be used to identify the exact measurement area thereby facilitating precise readings.
The FLIR TG275 Automotive Diagnostic Thermal Imaging Camera also features an MSX® Image Enhancement function which can be used to improve the clarity, detail and sharpness of thermal images by overlaying visible images (captured using the 2MP digital camera) on top of them. This allows the user to pinpoint the sources of faults and gauge their severity with greater speed and precision.
Further to this, the FLIR TG275 Automotive Diagnostic Thermal Imaging Camera features six selectable colour palettes: iron, rainbow, white hot, black hot, arctic and lava. Using these colour palettes, the mechanic can adjust the thermal image to enhance the aspects most relevant to his/her application.
The FLIR TG275 Automotive Diagnostic Thermal Imaging Camera's Imaging Recording function facilitates the user’s ability to capture and save images throughout the maintenance and/or repair process. Up to 50 000 images can be saved to the FLIR TG275 Automotive Diagnostic Thermal Imaging Camera’s 4GB of storage allowing the mechanic to document each job from the identification of the problem through to repair completion.
Images are displayed on the FLIR TG275 Automotive Diagnostic Thermal Imaging Camera’s bright, 2.4” screen. Saving images and/or accessing the required measurement function is easy due to the FLIR TG275 Automotive Diagnostic Thermal Imaging Camera’s simple interface and ergonomic design.
This compact and rugged camera is IP54-rated ensuring that it is protected from dirt, dust and oil ingress, which is particularly useful when working on automotive sites. Additionally, the FLIR TG275 Automotive Diagnostic Thermal Imaging Camera features an integrated bright LED torch for seeing into dark and/or awkward-to-reach spaces.
The FLIR TG275 Automotive Diagnostic Thermal Imaging Camera is an accurate, affordable and durable infrared diagnostic tool optimised for the automotive industry.
