The FLIR Si2-LD Industrial Acoustic Imager is a simple-to-use, highly sensitive sonic imager optimised for leak detection and mechanical fault identification. It builds on the capabilities of the FLIR Si124-LD Industrial Acoustic Imager and as such can detect leaks that are 5x smaller from 4x the distance. For example, the FLIR Si2-LD Industrial Acoustic Imager can locate compressed air/gas leaks from up to 200m (656 ft) from the source. Moreover, a measurement and cost analysis function for industrial gas leaks (ammonia, hydrogen, carbon dioxide, methane, helium, and argon) makes assessing and prioritising repairs easy and efficient. Similarly, a Mechanical Fault mode, which automatically selects and optimises filters, enables fast, simple mechanical/bearing fault identification. In addition to this, the FLIR Si2-LD Industrial Acoustic Imager includes several new features including a 12MP digital camera; 8x digital zoom; 1280 x 720px, 5-inch colour screen; built-in LED lights; and Fleet Management functionality.
