FLIR MR59 Ball Probe Moisture Meter with Bluetooth

The FLIR MR59 Ball Probe Moisture Meter is a non-invasive, pinless moisture meter. Its ball-probe sensor allows it to scan large and uneven areas quickly, check around baseboards, and access corners.

Furthermore, it can be connected to a FLIR MR04 Extension Probe (NOT included) to enable access to hard-to-reach areas. The FLIR MR59 Ball Probe Moisture Meter’s Bluetooth connectivity is particularly useful when the display is out of view, as readings can be communicated wirelessly to the user’s smartphone or tablet with the FLIR Tools App downloaded. Also expanding the FLIR MR59 Ball Probe Moisture Meter’s scope-for-use is its backlit display, which ensures that it can be used in dim light, and its durable, drop-tested design, which makes it suitable for use in rugged environments.

Additionally, the design of the FLIR MR59 Ball Probe Moisture Meter’s handgrip has been optimised to prevent the user’s hands from interfering with measurements, ensuring that the meter is able to provide stable and repeatable results.

The FLIR MR59 Ball Probe Moisture Meter can detect moisture up to 100mm/ 4-inches below the surface; it can be used to create a heat map of the affected area, allowing the user to find hidden sources of moisture by following migration paths.

Finally, the FLIR MR59 Ball Probe Moisture Meter’s firmware can be updated by downloading product enhancements via the micro USB port.
