The FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System is a troubleshooting tool designed for locating moisture and building envelope issues. It combines the capabilities of a FLIR MSX infrared camera, moisture meter and hygrometer and is equipped with an easy-to-use, intuitive interface.
Thermal Imaging
The FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System includes a high-performance, 160 x 120px thermal imaging sensor. It also features FLIR’s MSX® (Multi-Spectral Dynamic Imaging) technology which improves the ease, precision and efficiency of locating problem areas. The MSX® mode overlays visual details onto a full thermal image, improving the clarity of the picture.
Also working to improve the speed, precision and ease with which moisture or building envelope issues can be located and identified is the FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System’s Infrared Guided Measurement (IGM™). For further information regarding the FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System’s IGM™ technology, please see the following video.
Moreover, the FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System includes an integrated laser pointer for targeting the exact source of the problem.
Moisture Meter
The FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System includes a pinless moisture sensor for non-invasive scanning of an area and an external pin probe for taking precise moisture measurements. The FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System can also be used with a range of OPTIONAL moisture probes allowing the user to tailor the environmental meter to his/her application or requirements.
Hygrometer
To measure air humidity, the FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System includes a built-in hygrometer. It is also equipped with a temperature and relative humidity sensor. Together, the hygrometer and temperature/ relative humidity sensor improve the efficiency of troubleshooting.
The FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System’s temperature and relative humidity sensor is field replaceable, ensuring that downtime is kept to a minimum.
The FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System’s ability to measure an array of environmental parameters means it is also capable of calculating the following: grains per pound/ grams per kilogram, vapour pressure, and dew point.
Analysis and Documentation
Data and thermal images gathered by the FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System can be analysed and organised into reports using the FLIR Tools Software or App. METERLiNK compatibility allows information to be transferred wirelessly to the user’s smartphone or tablet. Once transferred, data and images can be included in reports created using the FLIR Tools App.
Alternatively, data and images may be transferred to a PC via a USB cable to be analysed and organised into reports using the FLIR Tools Software.
The FLIR MR277 Building Inspection System is an easy-to-use, ergonomic and effective troubleshooting tool suitable for locating, identifying and documenting moisture and building envelope issues.
