Eliminate the guesswork when finding hidden moisture - with the FLIR MR176 imaging moisure meter, finding moisture is easier than ever before.
Equipped with a thermal sensor, the MR176 allows surveyors to visualise moisture damage as cold temperature spots, allowing users to hone in on a suspicious area before further testing is carried out. The system uses similar technology to that of FLIR thermal cameras, with 80 x 60 pixel resolution and constant display of temperatures across an area.
With this technology, you can fully customise readings to your preference, selecting measurements you need. You can display moisture, temperature, relative humidity, dew point, vapour pressure and mixing ratio on the MR176, complete with your choice of colour palette (ice, iron, rainbow and grey).
At the touch of a button, the image displayed on the screen can be saved, complete with measurement data. After measuring, these images can be downloaded into FLIR's free software, FLIR Tools, to create professional reports and carry out further analysis.
Once you've located the moisture patch, you can use either the FLIR MR176's non-contact pinless mode to gain a reading of moisture below the surface, or gain an even more accurate result of moisture content by inserting the included pin probe directly into the material you're looking at.
For more precise targeting, the MR176 comes equipped with a bright laser pointer. It also has a field-replaceable humidity and temperature sensor, ensuring you can keep working for longer.
