The FLIR E54 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera has an IR resolution of 320x240px and a thermal sensitivity of <40mK (at 30°C). It features two temperature ranges, -20°C to +120°C and 0°C to 650°C, and can measure temperatures to an accuracy of ±2°C or ±2%. It is also equipped with a fixed 24° lens and has a manual focus and one-touch level and span.
In addition to this, the FLIR E54 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera includes an integrated 5MP visual camera with a fixed focus and LED light. Its MSX® Image Enhancement function increases the depth and clarity of thermal images by overlaying visual details captured using the 5MP visual camera. This makes it easier for the user to locate the sources of faults.
The FLIR E54 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera also features 1-4x continuous digital zoom and measurement tools including three spot meters and one area meter (in live mode).
The user can record and stream radiometric, IR and visual footage. He/she can also save radiometric JPEG images to the FLIR E54 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera’s 8GB SD card. Images and videos can be saved with a GPS tag, voice annotations and/or on-screen text. Additionally, via the touchscreen display, the user can also sketch onto thermal images. These features allow the user to build reports on the FLIR E54 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera.
This camera is also compatible with FLIR’s reporting and analysis software such as FLIR Thermal Studio (included) and FLIR Thermal Studio Pro (NOT included).
The FLIR E54 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera's simple folder and naming structure ensure that saved files can be located and recalled easily. Also adding to the efficiency and ease of operating the FLIR E54 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera is its fast-response touchscreen display with a 640x480px resolution, intuitive user interface, and practically placed menu buttons. These features, combined with the FLIR E54 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera’s pistol-shaped design, means it can be operated using a single hand.
In addition to ease-of-operation, the FLIR E54 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera has been designed for use in rugged environments. It has been drop-tested from 3m (6.6ft). It also has an average battery life of 2.5 hours.
Furthermore, the FLIR E54 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera supports USB, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi and DisplayPort interfaces. The user can connect to a smartphone or tablet via Wi-Fi, allowing the user to share images and footage with relevant persons.
Moreover, METERLiNK compatibility means the FLIR E54 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera can communicate with other FLIR tools such as clamps and multimeters. Data collected using these tools can be saved alongside thermal footage and images.
The FLIR E54 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera has been equipped with FLIR’s exclusive Inspection Route Camera function. This is automatically enabled and guides the user through a pre-defined inspection route. The user gathers images and data at specified inspection points which is automatically organised by the FLIR E54 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera; this enables seamless import into FLIR’s Thermal Studio Pro Software. As a result, reporting is simplified and inspection efficiency and organisation is improved. The Inspection Route Camera function is ideal for thermographers who carry out a large number of inspections on a regular basis.
Inspection routes are constructed using the Route Creator Plug-in for FLIR’s Thermal Studio Pro Software (NOT included). They can include as many inspection points as required which may be organised to ensure maximum efficiency. The route is then exported to the FLIR E54 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera.
The FLIR E54 Advanced Thermal Imaging Camera is an easy-to-use, effective and efficient infrared-imaging camera suitable for electrical and mechanical equipment inspections.
